Has everything been done yet?

I came across this problem few times, first it was the book, then M.Bierut wrote about his experience. We all remember Quark Logo issue and many other similar cases that started discussion on “everything has been done” and many have adopted “piggy-back strategy” since world started to be getting used to that conspiracy theory of few uninspired losers. Bierut explains the problem very well not leaving much for interpretation for the “piggy-backers”. We are all affected by our experience, but number of so many mind-triggers (visual and conceptual) that the border between inspiration and plagiarismis gets blurred from time to time. Conscious acts are completely different story and they stay on bottom shelves. To conclude I want to recommend another good article on subject giving a bit wider explanation, not an excuse tho.

ERD (Electricity Reduction Device)

If you decrease your demand from the utility you use less electricity. The thought is, you’ve already paid for that electricity, why pay for it and waste it when you can pay for it, store it, and reuse it again.
