Mobile is my life - facts

My recent(just couple years old) fascination with mobile technology or rather possibilities for future took me on a statistical journey. Symbian is going Open Source and their market share is... big. What does it mean? For advertisement, in particular, it means that people are getting more familiar with mobile technologies, so it opens few new doors for always scared clients; they tend not to invest money in the future as much as new ventures that build platforms for advertisement. What else is social networking if not a platform for advertisement? It all ends up as one since there are many potential consumers that can be manipulated. Now we're getting close to their pockets with their growing awareness and attachment to mobiles. Most of them still make only calls and text, but more starts using web, (look at the Japan) , applications and other services(e.g. GPS). Some consider it still a niche, some are taking it seriously .

This week's special - Augmented reality collection
Wiki says: Augmented reality (AR) is a field of computer research which deals with the combination of real-world and computer-generated data (virtual reality), where computer graphics objects are blended into real footage in real time.
Yeah, we all have seen it or at least heard of it. Still young but due to technology development it is gettign easier to implement. Rememebr mini?
