New old friends

We all, somehow, know how fast things are moving and how difficult is to keep up. Knowing that we realize that those who have more time and haven't experienced the life before* are moving faster, experience more and gain more knowledge. Is that true? New audiences seem to be more social too. They chat, IM and poke. They make quick friends and that is part of their group culture. But hey, how quick ca you make friends? Clicking on "invite" does not necessary mean that one will be able to rely on that one click for the rest of one's life. Laphroaig offers you friendship and a square foot of plot for a life when you sign up. It is not only instant it has an incentive to be a friend. Usually one has to attract others to make friends, give something unique, share something personal. Brands quite often make mistake of sharing or offering something bland and insincere. Making friends is not easy when you are not a person.
